oDesktop is installed as an independent PHP application at your web hosting account. You can easily install oDesktop
by uploading all the files to your web folder using FTP. You will need a few MySQL databases for different users.
Kindly follow the instructions as below:-

| 1. Click to download odesktop-ftp.zip file. |
| 2. Extract the ZIP file to your computer. |
| 3. Use any FTP client software to upload the odesktop folder to your website. |

| 4. Set the permission of the odesktop/temp folder to Writable by all parties (CHMOD 777). |
| 5. Open the URL http://www.yourdomain.com/odesktop/ with your web browser. It will load the Installation Wizard. |

| 6. Fill in the information in Installation Wizard and proceed to install oDesktop. |
| 7. You will get be get 30-day free trial for every installation. To obtain the full version, kindly visit our store. |
8. After you have purchase oDesktop license, you will need to assign the URL for your license in your Client Account. To find out exactly the oDesktop URL for activation, please refer to below:-

PHP configurations |
The Installation Wizard will detect your PHP configuration settings such as cURL, Iconv, IonCube loader and FTP module. It will prompt you with messages whether your server requirements are sufficient to run oDesktop. Click here for System Requirements.

FTP Module |
If you have FTP module supported in your PHP configurations, the Installation Wizard will prompt you to enter your FTP settings and let you select the location where you should upload the oDesktop files.
This is for file permission security purpose to have the oDesktop files owned by your FTP user instead of Apache. If you do not have FTP module enabled, all the files will be owned by the Apache user. |
