The screenshot above features oDesktop's Upload Box, Applications Panel, Account (My Account, Space Usage and Desktop Settings), and Task Bar. Each feature has significant benefits that enable you to perform specific tasks with ease.
We will go through each of them as below. |
 | 1. Advance Upload Window
Method 1: HTML Form
Use the basic HTML form to upload your files. Simple click to browse for your files in your computer and click on Start Upload. This is suitable to upload smaller files such as below 2MB. |
Method 2: Java Upload Applet
Method 2 is a cross-browser compatible Java applet that allows you to upload multiple files and folders by simply drag and drop or copy and paste them from your PC into the Upload Box. Uploading process is reasonably fast with the use of file compression algorithm and all folders and files will be uploaded directly from your PC to your server at a time. Best of all, you will never experience server time out while uploading large files and folders. |

 | | 2. Applications Panel
The Applications Panel allows you to access all oDesktop applications including oDrive, oPhoto, oMusic, oNetwork, oEmail, oNews and oGames. When you click on any application icon, the application window will pop up in the desktop area. We will explain more about the functionalities of each application in the next section. |

 | | 3. My Account, Space Usage & Desktop Settings
If you wish to change your account login and details or select your own preferred language, you may do so in My Account section. Besides that, you can check the total Space Usage and easily change your current desktop's wallpaper in JPEG or GIF format. Also, you can change your oDesktop look and feel to different themes such as Black Metal, OS Xtasy, or XP Plastic. The settings can be done in Desktop Settings |

Task bar is located at the top of oDesktop where you will find your running application windows. Each application window can be restored or minimized at your convenience. |
